Welcome to our new site
Phlox subulata ‘Emerald Pink’ is a vibrant evergreen perennial that creates a stunning carpet of hot pink, starry flowers in mid to late spring, blanketing its fine, needle-like dark green foliage. This low-growing, mat-forming variety spreads readily to form a dense, moss-like ground cover, making it perfect for rock gardens, slopes, edging, or cascading over walls. Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, it is drought-tolerant once established and requires very little maintenance. Hardy, deer-resistant, and attractive to butterflies, ‘Emerald Pink’ delivers bold colour and cheerful texture, making it an excellent choice for brightening the front of borders and sunny garden spaces.

🌱 Perennial Care Guide (Gatineau/Ottawa)
All perennials at Nesbitt’s are suitable for hardiness zones 1 through 5. This means they are selected to withstand a wide range of colder climates and seasonal temperature variations in our region.
Perennials are expected to return year after year when planted in the right conditions. To support strong root development and long-term performance, use well-draining soil and enrich with compost or peat moss. Choosing the right plant for your garden’s light and soil will help ensure reliable growth and consistent blooms each season.
